8 February 2011- I have joined a gym (again) and one of the main arguments was that it offered a lot of pilates and yoga classes, including some pilates equipment classes (the reformer and the wunda chair). Most gyms skate by on a floor Pilates class a week, and don't really consider the equipment at all. This is what the reformers look like. They are pretty hard.
7 February 2011 - There has been a cyclone up north, and the banana plantations are pretty badly hit. The last time this happened bananas ended up being something like $15 a kilo($30 a pound?). Anyway I barely ate bananas for about a year. The price has already started to rise in the shops, so when I spotted this banana in the work fruit basket I went for it. I thought it would be the last banana for a while, but my home fruitbox has them at the moment as well.

6 February 2011 - I used my Kindle so much that I completely drained the battery and it had to be plugged in for a while before I could use it again., Lots of reading I guess. I had to resort to hard copy books for an evening (No hardship, it isn't as if we don't have any of those)
5 February 2011 - Seriously pink cheese. Greg kept referring to it as Barbie cheese. It isn't food dye either. While I was at the gym, doing a pilates class, Greg was forced to fend for himself in the wilds of Coorparoo. He went to the Coorparoo Markets and found a deli with a lot of cheeses. He must have taken his time there, because the lady recognised him when we went back in. Anyway this cheese has port wine soaked into it, which turns it pink!

4 February 2011- This whole two Project 365s at once is getting tough. This day I only took two photos. And they are of the same thing. But subtly different. If you don't beleive me, check out the other one: Project 33. I drink a lot of water at work, and need to find somewhere for the bottles (no recycling bin!). For those who would say just refill the bottles- the tap water tastes awful, I've tried.

2 February 2011 - Perhaps I am unobsevant, perhaps it is the camera, or the fact I tend to find my V day cards elsewhere. But why is there only one column of wife cards and two for husbands? consistently. I had a theory at the time, but now I can't remember it. Is it becuase men don't like choices? Or they will just grab the option in front of them and they are scared off by too many choices (same answer as before) or women are just happy to get the card? Thoughts?
This one was actually received January 26 or earlier. It isn't a Postcrossing postcard, a friend from Japan sent it to my mother's PO box. That was the address I used when I came back, so she still occasionally gets mail for me. I really like the New Year card tradition in Japan- people make some very interesting cards.
1 February 2011- We found this calendar in Japan. It's one animal for every two months- January is on the other side. I thought it would be a unique calendar, but about a month later I found a brown version at a cheapie stationery store. Not so impressed.
31 January 2011- I bought a new iPod nano midmonth (that's where all the irritating facebook updates about steps come from, it has a pedometer) and it is tiny. So tiny it can function as a watch. SO we bought a specially constructed watch strap. And it is a little big, i prefer small watches, but it means the pedometer is always on.
